The Lone Star Wind Orchestra (LSWO) is looking for meaningful corporate community partners that support its vision of "Music Changing Lives". In addition to providing world class concert presentations at the Meyerson and Eisemann Centers, the sixty-member ensemble brings the life changing power of music to the members of the North Texas community with the least access to the arts.

Through the "Lone Star Kids" Educational Outreach Program, the LSWO brings thousands of Title-I middle school children to their first classical music performance, and fills and urgent need as funding of school music programs decreases steadily. Our musicians also bring meaningful after school music programs to at risk schools such as the St. Philip's Community School in South Dallas. Our most exciting new community partnership is the St. Philip's "Drum Club", which involves hands on after school percussion instruction for over fifty children each week. this program is growing rapidly and the demand is outpacing our current resources.
