Who is eligible to receive the group rate?
Any group of ten (10) people or more qualifies for a discount.
Are there any restrictions?
The only restriction for the group rate is that one person (for each group) makes the ticket purchase by calling the appropriate ticket office. For events at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, call 972-744-4650.
How do attendees get their tickets?
The purchaser / group organizer is responsible for distributing tickets to the individuals in the group.
Can tickets be mailed?
Yes, but only if purchased before the ticket office mailing cutoff date for that event.
How do I get my tickets if I purchase after the mailing deadline?
Your tickets will be held at will-call. Your group's responsible party will need to obtain and distribute the tickets at the event to the group attendees. The lobby doors open one hour prior to the beginning of the performance. The performance hall doors open thirty minutes prior to the beginning of the performance for seating.
How many group rate seats are available?
Group rate seats are available in all sections except the Box Seat area. The number is limited only by the venue capacity, which typically exceeds 1,000 seats.
Can I check to see what seats in the group rate section are still available to purchase?
You can check online to see what is sold and what is available or you can call the ticket office. For events at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, call 972-744-4650.
Should individuals send payment or make checks out to the Lone Star Wind Orchestra?
The ticket purchase would need to be made with a single check or credit card provided to the ticket office. Group attendees would need to reimburse the individual that made the ticket purchase. Lone Star will accept checks, cash and credit cards for donations, but all ticket purchases for the performance must be made through the ticket office.
