About the Volunteer League The Lone Star Wind Orchestra Volunteer League consists of a chairperson and many members supporting the organization's goals and mission. It consists of LSWO friends, family New Members may apply and be approved throughout the year. The volunteer league meets as needed, and may organize sub-committees with specific goals. Sub-committee chairs may be appointed for specific projects. Volunteer League members may participate in as many support areas as they wish or may choose to limit their involvement to a single support area or specialty project if they choose. Several areas of support available to the LSWO Volunteer League include: Community Outreach, Concert Activities, Educational Outreach, Fund Development, Graphic Art, Hospitality, Marketing/Advertising/Promotions, Publicity, Rehearsal Activities, Technical Writing, Technology and Youth Outreach.
The Lone Star Volunteer League members listed below have been instrumental in assisting the Board of Trustees and have graciously donated their time to various “behind the scenes” activities.
