LSWO Tuba-Euphonium Quartet to be featured at the 2011 ITEA South Central Regional Conference

The LSWO Tuba-Euphonium Quartet will be featured at the ITEA (International Tuba Euphonium Association) South Central Regional Conference in Waco, Texas on March 11, 2011 at 3:00pm at the Meadows Recital Hall on the campus of Baylor University. The quartet, comprised of euphoniums Jamie Lipton and Jeremy McBride and tubas Jeff Baker and Jarrod Robertson, has been with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra since its inaugural season. Euphonium Jeremy McBride will also be giving a solo recital at the conference.

The LSWO Tuba-Euphonium Quartet will perform three works on the program:
Wolkenschatten, op. 136 by Jan Koetsier
St. James Infirmary by Joe Primrose, arr. by Mike Forbes
Wind Sketches by Brian Balmages.

In addition, the LSWO Tuba-Euphonium Quartet has a commercial CD recording in the works set to be released by Mark Records.
