The Lone Star Wind Orchestra is a committed participant in community collaboration for arts-in-education and firmly believes in the profound impact of music education on development of higher cognitive and social skills that translate into higher academic success and greater personal growth.

St. Philip's School and Community Center is the Lone Star Wind Orchestra's newest "partner" school in expansion of the Lone Star Kids Program. The Lone Star Wind Orchestra will be providing valuable classroom learning and mentoring relationships, as well as after school programming for these outstanding young students and their families. Generous Foundation support helps our organization leverage city, and private funding to increase the impact of arts-in-education programs on student learning and achievement.
